That by itself would not imply it is not too good.
True. When I wrote that the bot thinks it's too good (before the 4-4), I was thinking that I did not think it was too good.
And if you have cube access 5/1 8/4 10/6/2 keeps the prime. Is the position overrun enough that the cash has been lost?
Good question. I think so. That play does keep the prime, but makes it awfully hard to keep moving forward because all three spares are already in front of the prime. I would not have made that play with any cube position. Here's a rollout of the cube decision after 5/1 8/4 10/6/2 ... no move. According to the bot, Blue has regained his market with that sequence. I'm not certain that having the spares advanced like that doesn't induce Gnubg to make more errors after that play than after some other play. But I think the rollout's D/T is correct.

When the snake comes down to making the 5, 4 and 3 points, it's crunch time. If Blue puts spares out of play, he has little flexilibity to recover. I find that with awkward numbers (basically, 5-5 and 4-4), Blue needs to go ahead and make points and keep his spares flexible, even though that gives White some immediate jokers.
The bot on 2-ply plays 11/3* 7/3 9/5. My play while playing it out with White holding the cube was 7/3* 10/6 9/5. Here's a brief rollout of five plays with Blue holding a 2-cube:
