XG: take blunder and a double blunder - say what?

Been enjoying the Novi matches. Thanks for posting.

This may have already been around more times (as someone once said of Sheryl Crow) than the wheel on Lance Armstrong's bicycle, or maybe I'm just missing something obvious, but here goes anyway: XG will sometimes gong a non-cube as both a double blunder AND a take error/blunder, even though 1) the would-be recipient of the cube didn't have a take/drop decision -- the cube wasn't sent over, and 2) taking the cube would have been the best choice even if it HAD been sent over. What does XG mean by "take error" in these instances (see, e.g.: game 6 of the Woolsey/Hast final)?
