poker human vs. machine -- halfway through

Apparently the contest is LIMIT HOLD'EM. "Polaris" is the newest version from U Alberta researchers (heritage includes Poki and Poker Academy Pro commercially available software). Duplicate format -- two rooms with identical cards except switching hands between bot and human. (Phil Laak's partner is Ali Eslami.) : report found here.

I wonder how they decide how significant a win (for either side) is required to declare the winning specie.
