Accuracy of Kleinman Stuff?

I've just started reading through my dad's set of Danny Kleinman books. There is a lot of thematic material that I have not seen elsewhere, and in particular a lot of mathematical equations that I have not seen anywhere else. A few of his ideas are obviously wrong but many of them seem extremely compelling. Has anyone ever done any rollouts on this stuff or otherwise tested its merit?
