Luck in poker and BG

I think one of the most annoying things I see watching poker on TV is the whining of the "pros" when someone "sucks out" on them. Like they never suck out on anyone. Like they weren't lucky to get the lead in the hand in the first place.

But you see this at BG: "I was ahead 5-1/7 and winning a G when.... Then... and ... and I lose the match!"

So, how'd you get up 5-1??
