So we missed a double (at DMP :)?
Trying to send another checker back has two downsides: 1) in the process opp may be able to anchor; 2) very unlikely but we could get stuck in opp's board, being forced to break our prime.
At DMP, I think one trapped (and hopefully closed out) is sufficient. However there are a couple more issues (related to each other) -- a) covers for the 2-point, and b) inflexibility of spares stacked on the same point. The latter is bad for 4-4 next turn (if we're not on the bar) which pushes at least one of our outside checkers too deep. (Note that since we are deciding on how to play a 5, we can't avoid the awkward 5-5 roll next turn, regardless.)
Putting it all together, I go for the flexibility. If we get the option to send back a checker then we can concern ourselves with that when it happens. IMO the awkwardness of not being able to roll the prime home and get our spares to good places is the bigger concern.
5/2*, 15/10
