Streaming from Monte Carlo - problems

I still remember the good old days (just a couple of years ago though), where such events (Monte Carlo, Nordic Open) were transmitted on a Backgammon Server (TMG).
Okay, those days were not sooo good (they sometimes had problems when the operator entered a wrong move), but I still think, this technology is better than streaming a video. You have a clear picture, you see the dice, you can log the match this way and ... you don't have any bandwidth problems this way.
Wouldn't it be a clever idea to establish such a capability with XG? The data are transmitted to the XG-website from where all XG-users can follow the match and discuss it. Okay, I just recognize, we need a chat feature als well ...
I would be willing to pay for such a service. Im am just too frustrated about the poor attempts (if any at all) over the last years.
Cheers,
Hardy ;-)
