Streaming from Monte Carlo - problems

Hardy: The data are transmitted to the XG-website from where all XG-users can follow the match and discuss it.
Why website and not directly into XG?
Today we have an option to transcribe a match in XG, maybe in a future we will have that + an option to send/receive transcribed match via Internet in a real time. User opens XG, clicks on "Watch match", selects wanted match among all available, pours himself a beer and watches a match in XG. In this mode, XG would offer an option to chat with other watchers.
Xavier? :)(But, I find streaming of a real board much better and more interesting, see below)
Hardy: Im am just too frustrated about the poor attempts (if any at all) over the last years.Did you see the streams from BenF? The video quality was very good!
Internet connections are faster these days so we should have more and more higher quality (high resolution) streams.
Don't know what resolution BenF used (input on this would be very useful), but there are some workarounds even with slightly smaller resolution (mentioned above - smaller board, careful placement of camera so board is over full screen) that would help with dice visibility.
Michael: This may not apply to the World Class Players but I can say that for people like me (and I know many others at my skill level who feel the same way) - Watching live play is a lot ore interesting. Doing it all through a bot or software is low bandwidth but I think it may make the game less interesting to watch. A live video feed keeps some of the human element.Don't know about WC players either, but I find real board streaming much more interesting too.
