I can't help but think that it's a shame that the USBGF is trying to milk this cow.

Ustream for free works fine.

No potential "lurker" is going to pay 15$ to watch the finals. Others have delivered similar streams for free and can do so again so I really think it's a shame that USBGF wants "to offer" world class backgammon to the world for money.

Let's promote backgammon and the event rather than trying to limit it to the few nerds who are prepared to pay 15$ for a mediocre quality.

(for now I am happy about the low quality since this will make it tough for the USBGF to charge - a shame that one has to hope for low quality).
