Entering on the 22-point doesn't leave us with a palatable five. After 25/20 we have three candidate threes. But the major question is whether or not we want to upgrade our anchor. Certainly there are times when keeping the deepest anchor is best, but in the current game I think we cause opp more problems by simply grabbing the 20-point. It has a lot of scrambling to get the outfield checkers into better positions and taking away its rolls which make the 5-point (particularly on-head) appear to be big swings. Meanwhile the (near-)worst case is that we eventually end up with a takeable holding game with minimal chances of getting G'ed.
