I don't want long winded subject lines or empty message fields in any post. You're crossing two different things here. I never said that posts need to promote backgammon or share information about the bg community. Of the four you posted in your other thread any of them are better than the *NM* post to me and I couldn't care less about American football. I tolerate golf and love tennis. It has nothing to do with what I like personally, you seem to be taking this pretty personal.

I've already been questioned about your post by more than one person asking basically what did Fernando win? What is the Monte Carlo Open?? In my utopian world your post would have had a subject line something along the lines of Braconi wins MC Open and then in the message field you would have explained what the MC Open is cause I had no idea either and then went on to congratulate him.

You also have to question your opinion when the one guy who agrees with you so far (Rory) is the one who posted exactly the kind of thing that wastes my time day in and day out and annoys me to no end.
