Money rollouts with or without Jacoby?

If I am interested in money play, I use unlimited with Jacoby. If I am interested in match play, I generally use 11away/11away.
I don't entirely agree with the reason for the Jacoby rule. My first backgammon teacher, and good friend, was Oswald Jacoby (I lived in Dallas in the 60's), and I remember Oswald saying that one of the reasons he liked the Jacoby Rule is that it often influenced his opponents to cube too early.
Personally, I like the rule for many reasons and I would even like to see it applied in Match play...in fact, I can see no good reason why it shouldn't be used in match play. Of course it will change much of the strategy and even the entire match equity at various scores, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Now, before people start getting on their high horse and giving all kinds of lectures about not changing the game, etc., I AM NOT advocating that we change the rules of the game. I'm just saying that it would be an interesting side event, just as Nackgammon is, as playing with the Simborg Rule (you can't make a point on the opening roll) and other rule changes that mix it up, make the game a little more complex, and force people to use their logic and reasoning instead of memory to decide what to do.
