Meta-MET Needed for Best 2 of 3 Matches

In Response To: Meta-MET Needed for Best 2 of 3 Matches (Taper_Mike)

Suppose you were playing a single match to 3 points but there were no gammons, backgammons or game cubes. Then a simplified MET exists but it is moot because, to paraphrase Tom, you are simply going to try to win each game.

That's what you have in a best-of-3 matchup, where there are no "match cubes" or "match gammons".
