XG2 rollout settings?

Here's a link (and NO it isn't to BK this time) http://www.extremegammon.com/xg2level.asp
You'll see tables for strength of various plies and well as graphs vs speed.
You'll see that XGR cube is actually a bit stronger then 4 ply for XG2. However since more than 5/6 of the total playing strength differences come from checker play and 4 ply checker play is superior to XGR's, 4 ply is stronger overall than XGR.
We spec'd 3 ply play XGR cube for RO's since XGR cube makes only about 2/3 of the total errors (cost) as 3 ply, and we don't like cube errors messing up RO results. The added cost in terms of speed isn't great when compared to 3 ply both, since much of the time used in RO's is for checker play decisions. I honestly haven't tested since pruning was implimented, but don't think the for most positions that using 3/XGR is more than twice as slow as 3/3. I'll test that soon. Some of this many depend on your computer, cache, threads etc.
If the default of 3/XGR is too slow for your computer, just change it to 3/3.
You also can right click on the RO icon to bring up 3/3 or the really fast quick look setting I like 2 ply play 3 ply reduced cube. That is, of course slower than XGR++ but clearly more accurate.
