Score caps were "invented" to prevent big score discrepancies when there was large difference in playing strength between two players.
If you were luckier than your opponent and lost a match, you can win more than 0.1 - depending on how much luck you had. *
Winning with +50% luck (and losing with -50% luck) is considered normal (both players had same amount of luck).
Winning with less than +50% luck means you played better than your opponent - you needed less luck to win. Winning with more than +50% luck means you played worse than your opponent and you needed more luck to win.
* There were many examples where loser played much better than the winner (but he wasn't lucky) so, even though he had lost, he has won more points than the winner.
