Thanks for the "Welcome back," Paul. I won't be showing up in online action or tournaments for the foreseeable future, and I don't have a private pigeon stowed down here. One good book, a visit from a friend who provided several hours of enjoyable pride matches, coupled with more available time for a spell - this all dovetailed to spur me on to think briefly about the game and take minor tests to place myself. That's the extent of it.

I'll give the Othello tests a shot. I'd need training to develop real DMP prowess and I'm not devoting myself. I'm sure it could be a fun challenge for awhile.

As for Nackgammon, Super Nackgammon Shuffle and the like...perhaps I don't like games enough to be entranced by the challenge of deeper games. Maybe I like being very good at the couple of games I do play and don't feel like starting from scratch with time not seeming quite unlimited at age 52. Dunno.

I've looked at the correct responses to opening rolls, at least for money or no relevant match score. Writing down my own answers from memory, I was wrong on 9% of them and in a virtual tie on another 4%. Not way off, but interesting.
