Yeah ...

You pick up on 2-2 -- 6/1296 return hits plus some later (or zero now and some later?), instead of losing. You pick up on 6-2 -- 28/1296 return hits instead of 22/1296. The other 2's won't hit because they give 9/36 immediate returns, except 2-1 which is worse. 6-1 and 6-3 give a double direct shot, 40/1296 hits instead of 24/1296 after 6-1 and 42/1296 after 6-3 instead of 28/1296. So the swing on 2-2 6-2 6-1 6-3 is 6+6+16+12/1296 = 40/1296 extra immediate return hits.

Most of Opp's other numbers either beat you now or don't matter for now.

The only possible exceptions are 5-2 and 4-2. Opp could clear one checker and give you 11/36 returns. If he does you get 44/1296 immediate hits.

Well that seems close, but the tallies don't include extra nonimmediate hits.
