#1: 6/1 6/5. White has timing problems, so I'd prefer the safe play here. If White's timing were better, I'd strongly consider the pay-now-play (13/7).
#2: 13/7. Blue cannot win the race, so he has to hit somehow. A play like 22/18 3/1 looks too big, as it leaves White with strong 6es. After 13/7 every 6 (except 66) leaves a shot.
#3: 8/7 13/11. The biggest play would be 18/16 8/7, but I don't think it can be strong to give White so many attack. Maybe the pick and pass play is good, as it leaves only 5 shots instead of 6 and if White fans, Blue can win some time to clear his 18-point. On the other hand, Blue's racing lead is so big that White would like to enter on the 2-point with her lonely back man.
#4: 23/21 8/4 6/4. At GG I'd simply make both points. But here at DMP, the basic winning strategy seems to get the back man home, and 23/21 threatens to connect with every 6. In the home board I'd prefer to play without blots here.
#5: 14/10 8/5*. White leads with 50 pips, but Blue's anchor is strong. The natural move 14/10 13/10 looks too soft. Blue does not fear a 3rd checker be sent back. Maybe 13/9 8/5* is even stronger, but it leaves 3 blots while White's inner board is strong.
