Variance reduction tournaments on DailyGammon

When will the tournament start? I'm interested in participating but I still need some time to reach 1800+, as I only have 101 experience points.

Next tournaments will be 2000+ and probably 1600+. They will start in about two weeks (start of September), but I will post information about it here.

Do you maybe play on GridGammon so I can use your GG rating as guide? Or do you know your average error rate?


For example, Ian Shaw (also poster here) plays in 1800+ tournament (very successfully, I might add) although his rating is lower than 1800 because of low experience, just as in your case.
