We lead the race by quite a bit. As such I'd like to get rid of the 18-point but then what about the back checker? First things first: 24/18. 18/15(2) is still an option but the checker remaining on the 18-point looks awfully lonely/vulnerable. Both 13/10(2) and 13/7 have merit as well.

Opp won't likely hesitate to attack anything on his side of the board which argues for 13/7. However, keeping the 13-point now will most likely lead to giving it up soon, and here we can give it up AND make a decent blocking/landing point.
