Bosnian players should learn the difference between tavla and backgammon regarding the touch-move rule. From experience, I know that there are some who know about that rule and still complain about it and consider it rude. Of course, there are some who honestly don't know about it and need to be educated.

Also, I don't think clocks would solve the problem of somebody thinking for too long. On the contrary, with standard tournament time control of 2 12 - if you play most of your moves within 12 seconds you can afford few REALLY long thoughts during the match (thanks to your timebank which for example is 14 minutes in a 7pt match). During my clocked live matches, there are almost always at least 3-4 critical situations where I will spend a few minutes on a move or cube action. If your clock management is good throughout the match you can easily afford to spend the necessary time on such tough (and sometimes match deciding) decisions.

Now imagine someone thinking for a few minutes on just ONE important move online. Already after 30 seconds or so there are people who start to get impatient, few more seconds and they are already typing hundreds of question marks to you. I don't even want to imagine what would happen if someone tried to spend a minute or two on an important decision. So yes, clocks ARE important and I'd love to see them implemented on Grid Gammon. But not really to speed up the process as to ensure same conditions for everyone and to prevent speed freaks from complaining. (cause if you're thinking for too long you'll bear the consequences when you get dangerously low on time)
