Portes scoring

According to Tom Keith's encyclopedic backgammon site:
http://www.bkgm.com/variants/Portes.html
gammons are scored in Portes, (but not backgammons, as you say). So an equity difference of 0.04 should include some gammons.
If this version doesn't score gammons extra, then I think the author should have simply reported the results in wins&losses, not equity units.
BTW, I think you need to use the multinomial distribution (not the binomial) to calculate the uncertainty if gammons are scored differently than simple wins. I could do that, but I bet UBK (and others here) can do it faster than I. One could assume 13% gammon wins for each side and thus 37% simple wins for each side, which has been M/L the breakdown since JF became available (and probably even for TD-Gammon).
