"Slightly faster to compute" referred to pseudocubeless versus cubeless. Should be about a factor of 2 to get true cubeless numbers.
To get the statistics I'm interested in requires no extra computation. However, of course, if you want comparably small confidence intervals then you'll need to roll out a lot more trials. Each trial, on the other hand, will be faster because you won't need to turn on variance reduction.
