One-day tournaments

Personally, I way prefer a two day tournament. Heck, I wouldn't mind a one day tournament.

Here in Croatia some tournaments are 1-day, some are 2-day.

Those 1-day tournaments usually have Swiss-format with 7 rounds of 7pt matches. (No side-events as there is no time for that)

I don't like 1-day tournaments. Everything is rushed, and after 4-5 rounds, when you should play the most important matches, you are so exhausted that you cannot concentrate and think.

From my experience, I wouldn't recommend 1-day tournaments, but YMMV.
