In retrospect (i.e. I hit), I can see that 1) the homeside checkers are all doing something important (except, at the moment, the spare) whereas two of the four back checkers are wasting their potential; 2) opponent's 4-prime is nothing to sneeze at since four of the six numbers on a die can't move over it, and 3) White doesn't have to anchor (although he'd prefer to link his back checkers, and hitting loose in the deuce doesn't do much in the way of preventing that) since jumping one into the outfield now would be a plus for White. Blue just needs to get those back checkers into play and here's a roll to help do that.
