(1) 7/4 7/3. 11/7 11/8 pays off to 11 hits. Since White has some numbers that leave a blot in the outfield -- possible pick and pass -- and some numbers that wreck his board, I'll pay later with 7/4 7/3. If White's spares on 5 and 1 were on the 7 point, then I'd pay now.

(2) 13/9 23/22. Anchoring on the 23 seems wrong since White has only 2 builders. I'd advance 23/22 for presumably better outfield coverage and the option to make the better anchor. 8/4 and 13/9 look reasonable. With the back men split, I'd play 13/9.

(3) Double/Take. I think the take is close, but the even race, the 6 point board with a weak spare, and the opposing blot on the ace point should give Blue enough GWC to take. Break Blue's 6 point, or make White's ace point, and I'd pass.
