In general I agree with you, so I should explain why I intentionally deleted the version number from my post. I don't own XG2 and the rollout was performed by a friend of mine who owns XG2. My copy of XG1 can read the .xg file and produce an HTML file, but of course it gives the version number of my copy of XG, not the version number that produced the rollout. Thus I felt that not deleting the version number from the HTML file would be confusing. I did, however, say in my post that the rollout was done by XG2.

As far as reproducing results goes, you'd need the dice seed, which does not get exported automatically to HTML. Maybe that's a feature request to communicate to Xavier?
