OLM Protocol

Regarding protocol, what I do is decide what I would play, check other posts, and then give my (original) vote. That helps in avoiding giving arguments already stated by others.
IMO, it's more valuable to read multiple same reasons that no reasons at all, and for multiple reasons.
And that assumes there is no caving to avoiding saying something you were going to say (before reading other posts). I believe there are people who can do that (and if you say so I believe you are one of them) but I doubt there are very many.
Lastly, writing down something for others to read crystallizes one's thoughts, even to the point of making yourself realize you don't know something as well as you thought you did -- a good self-learning opportunity. I think it's also easy to fool oneself and overlook a shortcoming by taking the "read others' comments, then formulate my own" approach.
