It's funny that you should point out that XG does display the seed, Stick. I almost sent you a message to ask the secret. I did a quick Google search first, however, producing this post from Xavier.

For some idiosyncratic reason, XG suppresses the display of the seed when it has the value 1. If you set the seed to anything else, it will be displayed.

During my search, I came upon this advise from Nack. He recommends that one never use the default seed of 1. There is nothing particularly wrong with using the seed, it is just that you will be unable to combine your rollout results with those of others who have used the same seed.

Unforturnately, I fell right into the trap! My preliminary rollout of 63S-32-s uses the seed 1. Having begun with it, now I'm stuck with it.
