Putting out 13 clocks doesnīt help if some use their personal clocks. You canīt track properly...

Of course it does, you put out 13, matches are supposed to be started, all the clocks aren't taken, you go around the room and make sure everyone is using a clock. You know as well as anyone you have to hold people's hands if you want it to get done right, you can't not double check.

Perfectly feasable with 26 players, but almost impossible with 128.

That's why I used the line In this event especially. With more players it becomes more problematic and is again why I preferred the assigned table with clocks already set and ready to go for larger tournaments.

I'm all for penalizing donkeys but don't feel like in this case it was more their fault than the staff's. I'd also prefer people knew the punishments for their infractions beforehand rather than winging it when it happens.
