Thank you, everyone, for all of your honest feedback.

The ruling that was ultimately made, after a fair amount of hand wringing, was to forfeit Players A & B in their second round matches. At the time, it made sense, since it appeared to address all of the goals we had identified, which were to address A) the intentional nature of the breach, B) the actual impact of the 45 minute delay to the schedule of the tournament, and C) the concern that both violators were not unequally affected by the ruling.

I will give my debrief shortly…
