Bar/21 and what? 7/6, not 21/20. First, you're behind, so stay back. We should expect, generally, that staying back generates more shots. I wouldn't count them here, but if I do run through the list, then I can ask how White will play 6-2, 5-5, 5-4, 4-4, 3-2 (and also 4-3, 4-2, and 4-1) after 7/6 or 21/20. Second, you don't want to be pointed on. Only 5-2 points on the 21 point; 4-1 and 4-4 point on the 20 point. Third, generally, the 6 point is a good place for a single spare. Given Blue's prime structure -- the 8, 7 and 6 points with only one spare -- the spare is much better placed on the 6 point. Whenever White runs one checker from his anchor, 7/6 gives Blue 3 direct attacking numbers instead of two.
