When you turn over possession after a missed field goal is the line of scrimmage the same as the line of scrimmage was on the attempted field goal or is it moved back to where the ball was kicked from? I've never paid attention to this detail and it's what you suggest by saying 'It just seems too likely to miss and give the opps the ball on the 41' but I would have never thought that.
