Running should at least be considered. Playing bar/10, 16/11 moves our back checkers into our outer board, but leaves three blots there. White could hit with 8s, 9s and 10s. Specifically, he could hit with 62, 63, 64, and nothing else. Even when hit, we would have return shots. The alternative must be to make the 3pt. It would be a good long term asset to have. After moving bar/20, 8/3(2), the fourth five could be played either to the 15pt or the 11pt. Moving to the 15pt would give White 3s, 4s and 8s to hit (25 shots). Moving to the 11pt would give White 1s, 2s, 3s, 8s and 10s to hit (32 shots).
I like running. Two checkers played on the far side (bar/15), and two checkers played down (16/11, 15/10): the nactation is B (Both up and down).
My vote: bar/10, 16/11
