I'd say Jeff, every chouette has its own rules and some are more slack about making sure everyone observes them than others. But experience tells me that the more a chouette slacks off in enforcing the rules, it doesn't get friendlier. There are more arguments, more delays, and more people upset. So, sure, I'd be happy to let a few small things slide, but I don't think we should be slackers about the premature rolls rule, because not enforcing that rule tends to cause problems, not prevent them. I want to keep this chouette friendly, and that's why I'd like everyone to follow the rule on premature rolls. I hope you understand why I feel this way about it.
