1) 20/16(2) 8/4(2): the 4pt is powerful with the 5pt and 3pt already made. Then let's keep the back checkers connected. A 5pt anchor is not so important with such a powerful home board.
2) 20/15* 13/10: being back in the race, Blue needs to contain White's checkers. Despite the weak board with a blot, Blue's anchor speaks for a bold play. The blocking structure with 6+8+9 points should be kept.
3) 13/8 13/7 increases Blue's edge in his game plan, which is priming. Connectivity is not so important, as White doesn't have many checkers in the outfield.
