the (winning bid) for team 11 for $340. That turned out to be the cheapest lot in the entire field of 16 Calcutta teams, and I don't recall it being close.

I looked at my sheet last night. There were four seeded teams (8 players), ten four-player teams (40 players), and one 3-player team ==> total of 15 teams and 51 players.

There were two teams that went for $400 and one for $420. The average winning bid was ~$590.

Surprisingly (but maybe not as surprising as some would think) the top three calcutta payouts came from the four cheapest teams! Bill Davis and David Rockwell were on $400 teams (or one was on the $420 team -- can't remember) besides Stick's $340 team.
