It's interesting that several respondents (including myself) preferred 20/16 10/8 to 20/16 6/4. My off-the-cuff guess is that 20/16 10/8 gives White too many double-hitting rolls. I've often made the following mistake: I convince myself that I'd welcome a blot-hitting contest, but then give my opponent too many double-hitters that don't give me an opportunity to hit back.

This might be an overgeneralization.
