With your rollout of the original position in view, I'd try 15/14 15/13 in your second position -- double bob coverage in exchange for 5 hitting numbers one of which (5-5) is a winner anyway, and 6/3* in your third position -- opponent's 4 point board means our racing chances are worse than in the original position if we don't hit, so we gain more from taking away a half-roll if we don't get hit back, and we're a favorite to enter immediately if we do get hit back (and entering on our second or even third try may still give us a direct shot at opponent's checker coming around).
