Is twelve a lot of return hits (after 16/15*, 10/8), or did you count more?

Well, sometimes I mess up these mental backgammon problems because blots get covered during the move (and I miss that and count phantom hits). But here is what I saw:

Hit from opp's midpoint: {14, 24, 34, 44, 13, 23, 33, 43, 22} = 15. Hit from opp's 16-point (our 9-point): {16, 26, 36, 46} = 8 more for a total of 23.

I'm not looking at the position now (nor since I saw your post) so I could be imagining some of these. Also, when I count shots I actually count potential hits. If there's a better play with the roll than hitting (e.g. anchoring as could be the case with some of these rolls) then I still count it as a hit.
