I have to agree. LOL yesterday, leaving LA. Rather than wait for the shuttle bus to LAX which can come or not at any time and isn't nearly as fast as a cab I signal for a cab waiting at the hotel. Just a short ride to LAX and my fare is $8.55 rather than $8.25 since it takes the dufus 30 seconds to figure out where to pull in in front of my terminal. I hand him a $10 bill and tell him to keep it while saying thanx and I get no thank you in return and see a disappointed look on his face. WTF how much does a cabbie expect for a tip?
