Tipping etiquette...

Denmark is not a tipping country. I think the only place tipping is expected in Denmark is in the casino. Some people will tip a little at restaurants but this is not expected.

I have never heard of a Dane tipping the TD after winning a prize in a backgammon tournament. The registration should be able to at least cover the TD's expenses.

I don't think any Danish tournament organizer is organizing tournaments to make money.
