1. Since we are not hitting for sure, it makes more sense just to make the 5 than the 9 and look for a 1. Plus if white does not roll a connecting 6 you counter prime making a better board and possibly have a second checker send back should white not be able to connect or escape . So 9/5 6/5

2. Again 2 viable options make the 9 or 5 nor do we hit here neither. What is different with nr1 is that we have already escaped both checkers plus we have a lesser board. With that in mind it seems right making the 9 now leaving no blot .Even though we could make the important 5 point and accomplish a more equal board strength. Also we can play a good holding game from our opponent's bar. And it seems our opponent will do to on a 6. So 13/9

3. Make the 5, down in race stacked 8 and being hit should not matter that much.11/5 8/5 Plus it is just the nicest point to have.
