Thank you Bill but it's Michael Strato and the email address is info@gammonpower.com or editor@gammonlife.com and not editor@gammonpower - testing will start very soon but only for Play Money in Match Play and Money Game Play, and very soon Tournament Play also for Fun Money. Real Money will come later.

On the topic, I think a server can work with 5% rake - 2.5% from each player and players can make money and depending how the server is run, so can the server.

I am not saying that GammonPower will be 5%.

Another thing we all pay for when we play online for money is an affilate fee, whether you went through an affiliate link to start playing on the site or not, the server has to calculate they will be paying that and if there is no affiliate involved, well, they make more money.

Affiliate programs help servers grow faster but if your software is good and your rakes are fair, the players will spread the word and you will grow, maybe slowly, but you'll grow.
