1. Looks a little early even at 4a3a. ND/T.

2. For money I would hit twice fairly confidently. At DMP I'm not so sure; maybe making the 3pt or even 13/5* is better? When in doubt, I double hit. 8/5* 6/1*.

3. Again I think for money it should be clear to play bar/18. As a general rule, a straggler like this that doesn't guard any empty points in front of it (and that could be attacked) tends to lose too many gammons and should be safetied if the opportunity presents itself. But at DMP I'm not sure; sometimes keeping the straggler back wins more games. I'm reminded of KenB's crack-smoking rollout and of Daily Quiz 10/5 Number 3. Let's try bar/21 8/5.
