(We can't make a point.) Now is a good time to begin our exit of opp's homeboard, so start with 20/15. Then either continue 15/12 or create a dilly-builder with 6/3.

A) Fewer immediate shots on the 15-point;

B) We should have a good double opportunity next turn if things don't go poorly for us. This argues for leaving fewer shots next turn since 'later' may never happen;

C) In a void I don't know if the dilly-builder is a good play, but that checker does make Pointing-on-Head on our acepoint more likely (or at least creates a threat of doing so which could push a take into a pass), thus it's not a complete waste.

D) Assuming we're missed and we are unable to cash, our next large die could well be used to bring the last checker out (not bringing the outfield checker in) so in those cases the repeated shots are likely fewer by staying as far back as possible now.
