I will run and lift with 62.

(BTW, my unaided OtB cube thinking and double decision were in line with yours. I would take as White but not be so sure I was making the right decision.)

A rule-of-thumb I associate with Robertie's two volume Advanced Backgammon is that when you're getting full gammon value (always in a unlimited/$-game) and your opp owns the cube, if a checkerplay seems close you should make the more gammonish move (i.e. 2[2] with 6-2).

I'll roll out the parlay of take followed by Blue's 6-2 and post the RO result here in this thread.
