While correct for the specific position, I like Chuck miss the single number anyway...
Because, over time, I think it's useful to learn the volatility of different positions / position types. No matter if the individual positions are close to the double point or not (that can even vary by score), but just in general.
It will give you some useful "feeling" to your game for volatility as a parameter :-)
