I wouldn't hit loose on our 2. We are outboarded, it creates a swiss cheese board, and we don't have any blots that White's back checker is threatening. But the bots often ding me for not hitting loose in my home board. (So, I'm glad to see that some others also didn't play 8/2*.)

OTB, after eliminating the loose hit (and, of course, running off the anchor), I'm sure I would play 13/7 almost on autopilot. However, after reading others' posts I see that slotting our 5-point rather than our bar point might be better because it puts the checker where we want it, leaves fewer shots, and perhaps provides better covers.
