My standard play is to run (and I guess one of the bots likes this play). Hopefully it's not some stupid rule (Jacoby) which swings things.

Reasons for running:

1) you keep your pretty board in case you hit.

2) you are ahead in the race.

3) if you stay, opp is likely to have the same builder distribution next time. You will again be faced with the dilemma of further worsening your board or running and leaving your other checker staring at a four barrel gun. But THEN you won't have the six point board.

I assume you're doing CUBEFUL rollouts with both bots....
